The Las Vegas Raiders might be used to losing on the football field, but off of it, they are making some very winner-like moves… the latest being how they delivered season tickets to season ticket holders.
Coming off an abysmal 3-14 season last year, the Raiders and their fans are looking for anything to be excited about. One bright spot they can look towards is their rookie quarterback, Fernando Mendoza. They paired him with their splashy draft pick from last year, running back Ashton Jeanty, as they look to build a team for the future.
For now though, they plan on starting veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins… only time will tell if the Raiders fans “like that.”
But regardless, we’re barreling towards the 2026-27 NFL season. The NFL kicks things off on September 9, so with about a month until the National Football League gets rolling, franchises have started shipping out tickets to their season ticket holders. I think it’s safe to say that the Las Vegas Raiders beat out every other team in the league with how they delivered their tickets.
A Raiders season ticket holder named Josh Cox took to X to show off his season ticket package. It was delivered to him in a Raiders briefcase (and also had his name stamped on the side), and the whole thing really screamed “Las Vegas.” In the video, Cox cracks open the case to reveal a Raiders-themed poker set, fit with playing cards and black-and-white chips.
At the bottom of the briefcase were his actual, physical, paper tickets… and all in all, it’s a really cool way to get season tickets holders excited for the season, and reward them for their investment into the team:
“Well done once again, Raiders, amazing season ticket delivery. You outdo yourselves every year!”
That right there is how you do a season ticket delivery.
Football fans flooded into the reply section to commend the Raiders for knocking it out of the park (sorry, baseball phrase in football story). And individuals that pledge their fandom to other franchises aired out their grievances. Packers apparently get a coin every year that says “Season Ticket Holder,” and the Jaguars allegedly only send out the tickets with a fridge magnet and a coupon book.
That’s a whole lot less than what the Raiders do for their season ticket holders. Safe to say the Las Vegas team is raising the bar for how teams should treat their fans… now if they could just figure out the “winning on the field part.”
