$50,000 well spent I guess?
There’s been quite the uproar surrounding former President, and 2024 GOP presidential nominee, Donald Trump’s recent appearance on the Flagrant podcast with comedian Andrew Schulz. Several clips from the show have gone viral on social media, and Schulz even revealed that a venue (allegedly) cancelled his planned stand-up show after the podcast with Trump was released.
And apparently Trump’s opponent tuned into the podcast too.
Well, I’m sure Kamala Harris herself didn’t, but campaign staff for the Democrat nominee apparently wanted to use part of the interview in a new campaign ad.
The ad features Schulz asking Trump about Mike Pence, and then cuts to footage from the January 6 protests.

Now, Schulz has openly expressed his support for Trump in 2024, so his co-hosts were jokingly giving him shit for appearing in a Kamala Harris ad. But the comedian revealed that he got a nice payday for the clip of his podcast that was used in the 20-second ad:
“You know they paid me 50 grand for that? I got a licensing fee for that, $50,000.”
But Schulz (jokingly?) says he has a plan for that money:
“I’m gonna donate it to Donald J. Trump. I’m donating it.”
Now, is he really gonna donate the money to the Trump campaign? Who knows. But how hilarious would it be for $50,000 to basically go from the Harris campaign straight into the Trump campaign’s bank account?
Wonder if they would regret the ad if that happened?
Andrew Schulz says Kamala Harris paid him $50,000 for using his video in an ad.
