Zach Bryan continues to churn out thoughtful country music.

Some might argue that the “Pink Skies” singer should slow down his output – but why would he? Bryan consistently sells out stadiums, and what better way to keep you fan base plugged in than to continually and consistently pump out new music? Also, if you’re a songwriter, like, it’s in your blood, that’s just what you do. You write songs… and Zach likes to share them.

And it seems to really be working out for him

He’s still coming off the release of his latest album, The Great American Bar Scene, which he released less than a year after his highly acclaimed self titled album. Bryan has been busy on the road, but is currently on a break from The Quittin’ Time Tour. The country star used the moment off the road to test out a new song, which he shared a small portion of on his personal TikTok account.

This snippet features Bryan plucking away at an electric guitar and singing a melodic, story-telling tune (possibly inspired by all of the denim dresses of “country girls” attending his concerts). From what we get to hear, the lyrics sing:

“DeAnn’s demim dress has got a dandelion scent,
that drifts with her as she rounds the door.
I saw a photograph of not from eight then ten years back,
of a birthday cake with a lit up twenty-four.
And I miss the times I’d drink cause I’d never overthink, and I never gave into this lore.
You ain’t Jesus Christ cause you don’t think twice, Sunday’s when you pass the liquor store.
But time changes all you’ll see, I ain’t half the man I used to be.”

Another Zach Bryan album on the way? Or maybe an EP? If he’s working on new music while he’s off the road, the country star could very well be cooking up another project sooner rather than later.

And the fans that chimed in on the video in the comments seem to be okay with the idea of new music from Bryan:

“I smell an EP approaching.”

“Close enough drop the album.”

“Already obsessed.”

“Zach it’s 3:08 on a random Thursday quit playing with my feelings like this.”

“Okay, release it, thanks!”
