Luke Combs Takes Fans Behind The Scenes Of Making “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” Music Video

A bad*ss new single.

Luke Combs released the lead single from the forthcoming major motion picture Twisters a couple weeks ago called “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma,” and it’s a haunting, driving tune that is heavily rock and roll influenced and fits perfectly with the movies theme.

Plenty of other country artists will be featured on the Twisters: The Album soundtrack, but it’s going to be hard to top this song in my humble opinion.

The music video highlights the chaos and worry as you watch the news and see dark storm clouds take over the sky, and there’s plenty of rain and flying objects that add to the uneasy feeling when you’re in a tornado warning, or even worse, see one coming towards you… I’ve thankfully never experienced that, and I never want to.

And today, Luke released a behind the scenes look at the filming of the video, which took place in Dixon, Tennessee. You get to see a little bit of how they make the magic, including some of those crazy wind and rain scenes:

“What’s up guys, Luke Combs here. We’re in Dixon, Tennessee shooting the music video fro my new song ‘Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma.’

We are behind the scenes, I don’t know if there really are scenes to be behind here… just finished up one shot, moving to another. It’s been a super long day, but I think it’s gonna be worth it. Hope you guys love it.”

I’d say they certainly achieved the vision, and I can’t wait to hear this song in the movie. I think it will quickly become a fan-favorite, and seeing as it’s his current single at country radio, another #1 hit for the North Carolina native.

Twisters is directed by Lee Isaac Chung, and is produced by Oscar nominee Frank Marshall (Jurassic and Indiana Jones franchises) and by Patrick Crowley (Jurassic and Bourne franchises).

The film is due out in theaters on July 19th.

And the finished music video:
