If you’re looking for a way to celebrate and honor the moment, a great way to accomplish that is by cranking up the late great Toby Keith’s “Courtesy Of The Red, White and Blue (The Angry American).”
The song was released in 2002, and thanks to the fact that the song oozes patriotism, it’s proven to have quite the shelf life. However, you don’t see a lot of young people cueing up the “Big Dog Baddy” anymore (maybe that is what’s wrong with the younger generation?).
But the Navy Women’s Lacrosse team was happy to change that narrative as they’ve gone viral for belting out the Toby Keith song in their locker room as a team. In addition to that, the school’s social media squad put together a goose-bump-inducing hype video around the moment.
Needless to say, it delivers, and Toby would have been proud to see this:

Since Toby Keith might as well have been the most supportive, big-named ally our armed forces could have had (in a time when they needed it most), it’s a very fitting, full-circle moment to see one of the many service academies embracing his U-S-A-themed track.
Plus, it’s just great to see that music from the catalogue of the “Big Dog Daddy” is still being enjoyed by the younger generations. If younger people are still connecting with Toby Keith, we might not be in that bad of shape after all.
