You ever wanted to live in a Bass Pro Shop? Well if you’ve got $22 million laying around and are willing to move to Indiana, you’re in luck.
Ok, it’s not really a Bass Pro Shop. But former NASCAR driver and three-time Cup Series champion Tony Stewart is selling his home in Columbus, Indiana, and it looks a lot like the inside of the sporting goods store.
The impressive 20,000 square foot home, named Hidden Hollow Ranch, was custom-built by Stewart in 2011 and is made of twisted lodgepole pine that was shipped in from the Rocky Mountains.
The house is located on 415 acres and has a nine-acre stocked lake, along with a hunting preserve featuring elk, turkey and deer.
The property also comes with a guest house and six car garage.
Inside the six-bedroom, eleven-bathroom home, there’s an 8,700-gallon freshwater aquarium in the great room, a commercial hibachi grill in the kitchen, and a bowling alley, golf simulator and gaming area complete with casino tables in the downstairs…and a massive bar.
Then of course there are the two story waterfall and trout stream in the entrance that really give the property that “Bass Pro Shop chic” look.
The property was originally listed for sale for $30 million back in 2022, when it became the most expensive home to ever go on sale in Indiana history. The listing was taken down later that year, and now it’s once again on the market for a nice discount from the original asking price – if you can call $22.5 million a “discount.”
Gotta think you could probably buy an ACTUAL Bass Pro Shop for that much.
I wonder what they would sell just the guest house for. Maybe that’s more in my price range.
