That’s as close as it gets.
Nothing like a few of the most dangerous predators out there to send a chill up your spine. Mountain lions are known to be some of the most skilled and powerful hunters out there, reaching weights of 175-pounds and being absolute killing machines. These wild cats are known to take out their prey with high success using speed, accuracy with their deadly bite, their sharp claws and powerful legs.
Anyone who spends time in mountain lion country knows it’s one of, if not THE, last thing you want to come across. I mean, the old saying goes “if you see one, it’s already too late.” And granted, attacks are quite rare, but recently, two brothers were recently attacked in California, and one of them was tragically killed.
This hunter had not only a close encounter, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
As he was out for an elk hunt, he noticed a bunch of animals strolling along… three mountain lions. And of course, since this guy was hunting elk, these big cats probably were too. The three wild cats stroll through the area as the man tries to go unnoticed, hiding behind a tree. Lucky for him, the mountain lion trio just kind of mosey on by, unaware that he’s mere yards away from them.
That would get the heart rate up a little bit, that’s for sure.
