I will always find it so special when artists make the effort to connect with their young fans. It’s setting the stage to have a lifelong person in the seats at your shows, and creates cherished memories for the little ones.
Riley Green is in the thick of his Ain’t My Last Rodeo tour, and the content from it thus far has been pure gold. From this dog, Carl stealing the show, him teaming up with Tracy Lawrence and Ella Langley celebrating the legacy of Toby Keith, to quickly learning his lesson to not mess with Rocky Top, he is making loads of memories on stage, and I am sure there are many more to come.
While he is having some standout moments each night he performs, he is also creating lasting memories for the fans in the audience. During a recent show in Jonesboro, Arkansas, he made a memory that a young fan will carry with her forever.
After seeing a little girl’s sign near the front row, noting that it was her first concert, Riley Green made his way off the stage to say hi to this loyal fan. After taking the time to sign her poster, which I am sure already exceeded her wishes, he then leans over the guard rail and scoops up the fan for a photo op.
The picture is too sweet. The little fan seems in shock that she is meeting her favorite country music star. If this doesn’t show that Riley Green is a class act, I’m not sure what will. Take this as your sign to buy tickets for your kiddos.
At the very least, they can get bit by the live music bug from a young age… it’s a good addiction to pass along to your kids.
