Morgan Wallen continues to dominate with One Thing At A Time.

His aforementioned 2023 album was the most-streamed song on both Apple and Spotify last year, and he earned 5 of the top 10 spots on the year-end Billboard Country Streaming chart (including the top spot with “Last Night”) and 4 of the top 10 spots on the Hot Country chart.

The double album was also the top country album on the year-end charts – right ahead of his Dangerous: The Double Album, which came in at #2 even though it was released back in 2021. Oh, and he also had the highest-grossing country tour of the year by a pretty wide margin.

And he’s continuing to break records with the album, because as of this weekend, it spent another week at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 all-genre albums chart.

After the 19th nonconsecutive week atop the list, One Thing At A Time breaks the record for the most weeks at #1 by a country album, surpassing surpasses Garth Brooks’ Ropin the Wind, which spent 18 nonconsecutive weeks at #1 in 1991-92.

According to Billboard,

“Country albums are defined as those that have appeared on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The list began in 1964.”

It’s hard to understate just how massive this album is, and continues to be, but by the sheer fact that he’s breaking records set by Garth Brooks in the 90’s, it’s pretty clear that Morgan is one of, if not the, biggest things in the entire music industry and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

And just for fun (and comparison’s sake courtesy of Billboard), here’s a look at just the 12 other albums that have spent at least 19 weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart (the Billboard 200 chart began publishing on a regular, weekly basis in March 1956)…

It includes albums like Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Prince’s Purple Rain, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours and Elvis’ Blue Hawaii sountrack:

I think that about says it all.

Morgan is also gearing up for a massive One Night At A Time world stadium tour that kicks off overseas in March, and he also just released his Abbey Road Sessions that were recorded while in London last year, where he debuted a new song called “Lies Lies Lies”:
