Fans of the popular, long-running game show The Price Is Right might have noticed a familiar face in the crowd this past week.

Country music star Randy Travis, and apparent super fan of the game show, traveled to Glendale, California to be on The Price Is Right. The “Deeper Than the Holler” singer got a tour of the studio, and wasn’t actually a contestant, but was instead seated out in the crowd during the show’s live taping.

Drew Carey, who took over as the host of The Price Is Right following Bob Barker’s departure in 2007, happily posed for a picture with Randy on the iconic game show stage at the CBS Studio. Travis and his team posted the photo and gave fans a heads up as to when the episode he was on would air:

That wasn’t all that we got to see from the legendary country music artist though.

Randy Travis and CBS TV collaborated on a post on Instagram which showed his wife Mary Davis pushing Travis in a wheelchair to see the various portions of the The Price Is Right studio.

The couple got married in 2015, two years after Travis suffered a stroke that nearly cost him his life. He’s since struggled with speech, and had to retire from performing, but nothing was going to stop him from enjoying his day at The Price Is Right.

In the footage below, Randy is seen being pushed in his wheelchair down the famous aisle as someone exclaims “Randy, come on down” in classic Price Is Right fashion. Though he wasn’t actually a contestant, the 64-year-old had fun acting like he was, holding up one finger to signify that he was going with one dollar as his for-fun-guess.

It looked like Randy Travis had a heck of a time getting to be a part of the show, and posted the behind-the-scenes footage from the visit with this caption:

“I was honored to be in the audience of a show I watch almost everyday. Thanks Drew Carey!”
