Dude, get a driver…or call an Uber.

Richard Sherman, the outspoken former cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks and current NFL analyst for Amazon Prime, was arrested early Saturday morning for suspicion of DUI in Seattle. Records show Sherman was booked into the King County Jail at 4:51 AM on Saturday.

According to the Seattle Times, no information about the incident was immediately available, but a King County District Court judge found probable cause to charge Sherman following the arrest. And due to the timing of his arrest, bail has not yet been set, and will not be addressed until a court hearing on Monday – which means Sherman is likely going to spend the weekend behind bars waiting on bail.

The 35-year old, who played 7 seasons with the Seahawks, retired from the NFL after the 2021 season following a three year stint with the San Francisco 49ers and one year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This marks his second arrest since ending his playing career, after Sherman was arrested back in July of 2021 after he reportedly crashed his SUV in a construction zone and left the scene before attempting to break into his father-in-law’s house.

Following a 911 call from his wife Ashley stating that Sherman was “belligerent” and threatening to harm himself, he was ultimately hit with a long list of charges including second-degree criminal trespass and malicious mischief in the third degree, both with a domestic violence designation, resisting arrest, driving under the influence, and reckless endangerment of roadway workers.

Sherman ultimately pleaded guilty to first-degree negligent driving, second-degree criminal trespass, and speeding in a roadway construction zone in March 2022. He was placed under court supervision for two years (which he’s presumably still under, since it’s been less than two years since his plea), and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and undergo a DUI course.

For the past two years, Sherman has been part of Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football coverage.
