Ahead of the NFL Wild Card matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins, all the talk was surrounding the near-record cold temperatures at Arrowhead Stadium.
But after the game, it seems like all everybody is talking about is Taylor Swift.
Travis Kelce’s girlfriend was on hand to watch the Chiefs dominate the Dolphins, and it seems like a new rule that every time Kelce touches the ball the broadcast has to show a shot of Taylor’s reaction.
And late in the fourth quarter, with the game well in hand for the Chiefs, Taylor and the rest of the suite seemed to be having a blast.

But all of the attention paid to Taylor Swift seemed to aggravate quite a few fans, who took to social media to express their displeasure at how often Swift was showed during the game:

Honestly, it’s understandable that people have forgotten about the insufferable little brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He’s been largely out of the spotlight this season, thanks to not only the attention on Taylor Swift, but also because of his legal troubles…
But I don’t think we should forget how absolutely insufferable this guy has been the past few seasons.
Remember when he was dancing on the field like he had personally just won the Super Bowl last year?

I think we’re forgetting just how terrible it was seeing this guy all over our timelines every NFL Sunday.
I mean, sure, I think the networks are overdoing it with their coverage of Taylor Swift. And even Tony Dungy, current broadcaster and former NFL coach, thinks that the league is risking turning off fans by talking so much about Swift and Kelce’s relationship.
But give me Taylor Swift on my timeline over Jackson Mahomes all day, every day.
