2023 has been good to NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney.
The 29-year-old won his first ever NASCAR Cup Series Championship last month, finally getting over the hump and officially etching his name into NASCAR greatness. On top of that, he also got introduced by one of his favorite bands of all time, Whiskey Myers, at the NASCAR Cup Series Awards.
I mean c’mon, winning the title AND getting introduced by your favorite band?
How does it get any better than that?
Cody Cannon and the boys took the mic, with Cannon telling the crowd:
“Thank y’all for having us out. We couldn’t be more proud of our good buddy, he’s an amazing driver and even a better human being.”
Lead guitarist John Jeffers also added:
“And clearly he’s got great taste in music. Ryan, we’re proud of you pad, we’re honored to be asked to do this, so with that being said please welcome the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion Mr. Ryan Blaney.”
Well, it appears that 2023 just got even better for Blaney, as he proposed to his girlfriend Gianna Tulio over the weekend in Washington State.
“I said yes to my forever”
The two have been dating for over three years, and I guess after Blaney took home his first ever Cup Series Championship, the timing just felt right.
Tulio was crowned Miss Hooters International in 2021 and inducted into the Hooters Girl Hall of Fame.
