A tracklist for the ages.

Willie Nelson is gearing up to release his Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90 Live At The Hollywood Bowl concert film this Friday, December 15th as a 2CD+Blu-Ray deluxe edition, a complete digital edition and a 2xLP highlights.

The Hollywood Bowl performances took place on April 29th & 30th at the legendary Hollywood Bowl and featured incredible performances of the red headed stranger’s vast catalog by Willie himself, in addition to Billy Strings, Buddy Cannon, Charley Crockett, Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam, Emmylou Harris, Gary Clark Jr., George Strait, Jamey Johnson, Keith Richards, Kris Kristofferson, his sons Lukas Nelson and Micah Nelson (Particle Kid), Lyle Lovett, Margo Price, Miranda Lambert, Snoop Dogg, The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers, Tom Jones, Tyler Childers and many, many more.

It was star-studded, to say the least, and even though I already watched all the performances on Youtube and saw the movie in theaters, this is on my wishlist too because I can’t get over how good it was.

Every single performance was superb, the star-power was undeniable, and of course, they played some of the best music ever created with the man himself, so if you’re as big of a Willie Nelson fan as I am, this is definitely worth adding to the collection.

And today, we have the full tracklist 52 of songs that will be included, some of which have already been released like Willie’s son Lukas’ gorgeous version of “Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground,” which was one of my favorites from the entire weekend.

There will also be 13 digital-only bonus tracks exclusive to this release:

In addition to this special project, Willie Nelson has had quite a year at 90 years young, which includes taking home two Grammy Awards, including one for Best Country Album for his record A Beautiful Time, and an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, all while putting out TWO new records (I Don’t Know a Thing About Love and Bluegrass) in the process.

The Texas legend has already started announcing tour dates for 2024, so it’s safe to say, he’s not planning on slowing down much next year at all.

Here’s to the one and only Willie Nelson… you can check out the full tracklist below.
