Back in 2020, legendary Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco admitted that he used to take Viagra before games to help increase his performance.
Needless to say, it was a wild statement and left us all wondering if he was being dead serious or just messing around.
However, the man himself is doubling down on his statement once again, and this time he admitted it while on his podcast, Nightcap, alongside co-host Shannon Sharpe. Sharpe asked Ochocinco if he really took Viagra before games back in the day, and he confirmed.
Sharpe said:
“Why you tryna be out there on the field with wood?”
To which, Ocho replied:
“Yeah half a pill… It’s an enhancement with an increase in blood flow, but if you take a half a pill before a game with a little bit of Red Bull it turns into a performance enhancer… I’m out there going crazy on half a Viagra!”
Sharpe then asked him if he still takes Viagra, and he admitted that he’s hung it up now that he isn’t playing football anymore.
That’s when Sharpe hilariously said that he can “neither confirm nor deny” that he’s taken the pill, and may have “dabbled” in taking Viagra in the past. Ochocinco then responded back with:
“In my marriage I don’t need no pill, because you ain’t getting nothing but three minutes anyway.”
All jokes aside, this combination of Ochocinco and Sharpe as co-hosts on a podcast makes for some great content.
