Garth Brooksjust announced 18 new show dates for his Garth Brooks/Plus ONE Las Vegas residency in 2024, which is going to continue through the end of next year by popular demand.
The shows will take place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and will have a “no phone policy,” which will probably actually make the show a much more enjoyable experience, honestly.
Garth says it’s been a joy working with the crew at Caesars Palace so far, and he can’t wait to extend his time there with 18 new residency shows scheduled for late 2024:
“My experience working with the family and crew at Caesars and the audiences of the residency has been next level.
I couldn’t have picked a better place to play or better people to play for.”
After embarking on a stadium tour for a lot of last year, and the past few years prior, Garth wanted to try something different and “shrink it back down” from headlining massive stadiums to tens of thousands of fans.
When he made the announcement about this new project on GMA a while back, he explained that they’ll take a bit of a different approach with these new shows…
He’s calling it a one man show, where he’ll have his band members sitting in the audience at the ready for whenever he wants to pull them up on stage:
“We’re calling it the ‘Plus ONE’ because we’re going to try something we’ve never tried before. The band is coming but It’s the one-man show.
They’re going to sit in the audience, so any time you want a fiddle just to come up and join you, any time you just want percussion and background to come up and sing or it’s just you — or just bring the whole band up to do ‘Friends in Low Places’ — this should be stupid.”
Garth had a multi-year residency in Vegas at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas from 2009 to 2013.
Tickets for these new shows go on sale to the general public starting Monday, November 27th, at 10amPT for the first nine shows, and 12 noon PT for the remaining nine shows.
