Swifties are on high alert.
Taylor Swift’s loyal fanbase has might be the most powerful force in the universe. You certainly don’t ever want to be on the wrong side of their wrath (ask Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, John Mayer, insert ex-boyfriend name here).
Things have mostly been pleasant amidst the romance between Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, just as long as you don’t ask NFL fans. They would say that broadcasts of games have leaned into the Swift thing just a little too much.
However, this past week took a turn, because Swifties noticed that a certified creep and clout chaser who just happens to be the brother of Patrick Mahomes was in the stadium suite with her.
If you’ve somehow missed out on the entire storyline, Jackson Mahomes is not a very liked individual, and those sour feelings might be warranted. His TikToking is cringey, the calls of him being a nepo-brother could be true, and the most damning evidence of all, he was arrested for aggravated sexual battery.
Mahomes (the TikToker, not the Super Bowl winner) posted his $100,000 bail back in May, and after laying low for a while, he got right back to riding the coat tails of his brother and dancing on TikTok.
But nothing gets through the cracks with the Swifties, and they immediately voiced their concerns when they saw Mahomes was lurking behind Taylor in the stadium suite, and even got included in a “celebration handshake” with Swift and Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany:

Even though things looked pretty mundane in the video above, that didn’t stop Swift fans from freaking out and calling for Jackson Mahomes to never get that close to the pop super star again.
X (formerly known as Twitter) was flooded with a ton of calls from Swifties to have Jackson Mahomes removed from Taylor’s vicinity, as well as a couple of jokes about the whole thing too:
