Sam Barber is hittin’ the road.

Right on the heels of his debut EP, Million EyesSam Barber announces that he is gearing up to hit the road. The young artist quickly captivated fans with his booming vocals and meaningful songwriting, earning himself an impressive following and turning the heads of industry heavy hitters.

After being on tour with 49 Winchester and his Acoustic Nights Tour with Drayton Farley and Noah Taylor, the time has come for Barber to step out on his own for his first headlining tour.

With 30 dates announced today and from the comments, it appears more are on the way:

“Texas is coming!”

Sam Barber is hitting venues across the United States and Canada. Kicking off in Chattanooga in February, the dates announced thus far span through May, making for quite an impressive tour stint.

As Sam Barber noted, his debut EP’s title track, “Million Eyes,” highlights his feelings coming up through the industry and captivating the eyes of many:

The song is kind of about me coming up through my music and being a kid that knows nothing about anything business-wise and music-wise…and just trying to do my best.

As it’s grown, I have a million eyes on me now, and I think it was kind of my career coming full circle as a “Million Eyes.” That’s why I wanted to name it that.”

While the tour is named after another original song that debuted with the EP’s release, “Till I Return,” has a cold and eerie message, although I am sure his tour is destined for quite the opposite. What is the best part about a Sam Barber show? That he sounds the exact same live as he does on studio cuts.
