What a tracklist for Dolly Parton’s forthcoming rock album, Rockstar.

She’s already released quite a few singles from her first full-fledged rock album, and today, her cover of the 4 Non-Blondes hit “What’s Up?” is out everywhere.

It also features 4 Non-Blondes frontwoman and songwriter Linda Perry, primarily on guitar, which is really damn cool and extremely rock and roll on Dolly’s part.

Her vocals sound strong, and obviously, these two make a badass pair that the world truly needs:

The 4 Non Blondes original version of “What’s Up?” became an international hit in the 90’s, peaking on the Billboard Hot 100 charts at #14 in the United States and even higher on charts overseas.

It was a solo write by Perry and released in March 1993 as the second single from their debut album, Bigger, Better, Faster, More!

Dolly’s Rockstar is due out everywhere here pretty soon on November 17th, and features an absolutely all-star cast full of rock icons and legends on a good majority of the songs.

Dolly has already put out several really cool singles and collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, from “Magic Man (Carl Version) ft. Ann Wilson,” ‘“Bygones ft. Rob Halford with special guests Nikki Sixx & John 5,” and a mashup Queen’s multi-Platinum mega hits “We Are The Champions” and “We Will Rock You.”

She even got The Beatles back together… enough said.

I love the whole concept of this project, and I really cannot wait to hear every single song on the tracklist with all of the other immensely talented artists Dolly managed to somehow pull together.

Queen shit… turn it up:
