Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb Suffers Leg Injury So Gruesome That ESPN Wouldn’t Even Show A Replay

This one is NOT for the faint of heart.

It’s a Monday Night Football doubleheader, and the Cleveland Browns are taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in what’s been a pretty ugly game offensively so far.

But the ugliest moment so far came early in the 2nd quarter when Browns running back Nick Chubb was rushing the ball inside the Steelers’ five yard line. As he was being tackled, Steelers defender Minkah Fitzpatrick ran into Chubb’s leg, which bent backwards in a way that a leg is definitely not supposed to bend.

In fact, it was so gruesome that ESPN wouldn’t even show a replay – but you can hear the moment that the crowd at Acrisure Stadium reacted to video of the injury.

Chubb was visibly in pain as his teammates tried to help him up and he let them know that he wasn’t able to stand, before being carted off the field.

While he obviously won’t return for the game, chances are that’s a season-ending injury for one of the best running backs in the NFL.

And even though ESPN chose not to show a replay, video of the gruesome injury quickly began circulating on Twitter, leaving fans horrified by what they saw.

And current and former players from around the NFL immediately began expressing their support for Chubb.

And if you’ve made it this far and want to see a replay of the injury, well, just a warning that it’s tough to watch.

There hasn’t been an update on Chubb’s injury yet, but I think everybody would be shocked to see him back on the field this season.

Prayers for a speedy recovery.
