Tyler Childers Releases Glorious Ode To Big A**es

I’ve had me a hankerin’ for some new Tyler Childers tunes, and thankfully, Tyler has been happy to oblige.

With the release of his new album, Rustin’ In The Rain, Tyler Childers blessed fans with 7 new tracks, including a cover of Kris Kristofferson’s “Help Me Make It Through The Night,” and a cover of SG Goodman’s “Space & Time.”

But this one right here has been stuck in my head since Friday morning (well actually, stuck in my head since he debuted it live a couple years ago).

Titled “Percheron Mules,” not since Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” have we heard such a glorious ass anthem.

Not those kind of asses though… we’re talking about donkeys.

However, much like Sir Mix-A-Lot, Tyler likes ’em real big… nothing less than 16 hands. Tanks, if you will.

It’s a rather simple song about getting yourself some big ol’ American Mammoth Jacks and some Percheron Mares on the farm. Throw in a hundred head of goats, some pigs… just living the dream.
