Julian Edelman Recalls Wishing Randy Moss’ Mom A Merry Christmas As A Rookie: “Edelnut, When I’m Talking To My Mom, Shut The F*ck Up”

If you’re a football fan, then you know that Randy Moss was one of the greatest wide receivers to ever do it in the NFL.

The guy made a career out of abusing cornerbacks for 14 years, while playing for the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers.

I mean c’mon, the guy literally invented the term “he got Mossed,” meaning that a wide receiver completely jumped over a cornerback and snagged the football out of the air.

As a kid, Moss was the guy you always wanted to be when lining up at wide receiver in backyard football, and he’ll forever be remembered as one of the best ever.

But besides being one of the greatest wide receivers ever, he was also known for being one cocky son of a gun (and who wouldn’t be if you were that good?), and he also has a very unique voice where you can tell it’s him the second you hear it.

With that being said, one of his former teammates can impersonate him to a TEE…

And it’s no other than former New England Patriots wide receiver, Julian Edelman.

Edelman recently made an appearance on Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, where he impersonated Moss and described all the things he would make him do as a rookie. He also revealed that Moss called him “Edelnut.”

Some of these are immaculate:

“Hey Edelnut get my hot tub ’bout 103 and get my gatorade.”

He also recalled the time they were about to play on Christmas, and he was walking past Moss while he was on the phone with his mom. Edelman told Moss to say he wishes her a Merry Christmas, and Randy responded:

“Edelnut when I’m talking to my motherf*cking mom you shut the f*ck up.”

Legendary stuff.
