Just trying to say hello.
For somebody who has basically lived in the upstate of South Carolina for all of his life, it’s hard to imagine living in an area where alligator sightings are so common.
Particularly in Florida and Louisiana, where these creatures have been known to casually roam the streets from time to time like how we see deer sprint across the road on the regular here in South Carolina.
Much less, I could never imagine getting within a couple feet from the jaws of an alligator, and not having a near heart attack.
With that being said, here is a perfect example of a situation where I might just lose all self control.
This video comes from the fine state of Louisiana, in New Orleans.
A group of people were taking a little cruise on a fanboat, and were just hanging off to the side, when all of a sudden an unwelcome visitor begins to make its way towards the boat…
And I’m talking about a big ol’ alligator.
That’s right, a massive gator literally climbed onto the boat, and opened its mouth big and wide for the passengers on board.
Needless to say, I don’t think my reaction would be the same as these people’s.
They begin to laugh uncontrollably, and say:
“Oh that’s scary! That’s scary as sh*t!”
Props to the guy on the boat who calmly pushed the gator back into the water… the folks down in the bayou are a different breed, man.
