Chris Stapleton To Release 5th Career Studio Album, ‘Higher’

COME ON.

It appears as though Chris Stapleton is gearing up to release his 5th career studio album, Higher.

Set for release on November 10th, the album’s 14-song tracklist will feature the recently performed “Crosswind,” as well as “It Takes A Woman,” a song that we saw Chris perform year more than 10 years ago.

And while the album hasn’t formally been announced yet, you can find it on Apple Music where the pre-order is already available in countries like New Zealand.

Marking his 5th career studio album, Higher will follow up 2020’s Starting Over, as well as 2017’s From A Room Volumes 1 & 2, and the smash debut in 2015, Traveller. Stapleton’s breakout album, Traveller went 6 times Platinum and also won a Grammy for Best Country Album.

Back in 2013, he delivered a performance of “It Takes A Woman” at Nashville’s The Station Inn.

Chris Stapleton Adds More Dates To 2023 ‘All American Road Show’ Tour

Chris Stapleton’s going to be a busy man for the rest of 2023.

The full run of his 2023 All-American Road Show Tour kicked off in April in El Paso, and will run though October, ending in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with some great openers including Charley Crockett, Marcus King, Nikki Lane, Margo Price, Allen Stone, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives and The War and Treaty:

“Featuring special guests Allen Stone, Charley Crockett, Marcus King, Margo Price, Marty Stuart, Nikki Lane, and The War & Treaty.”

In addition to his own tour dates, Chris will be opening quite a few stadium shows for George Strait.
