It’s been months since Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field during Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals after suffering a cardiac arrest from a blow to the chest by Cincinnati’s Tee Higgins.

Hamlin had to be revived twice, once on the field and then once more while at the hospital.

Needless to say, it’s an absolute miracle that Hamlin survived the terrifying situation at all, and now the guy is making a full recovery and is expected to play football again, something nobody expected as we all watched the scene unfold before our eyes.

Thoughts, prayers, and donations were being sent out left and right for Hamlin. In that moment nobody was worried about the game, just the well-being of Hamlin.

Well, everybody except for Skip Bayless.

The Undisputed host sent out a very insensitive tweet following Hamlin’s cardiac arrest, saying:

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

As you can imagine, Bayless caught a ton of heat for that statement, and later apologized:

“Nothing is more important than that young man’s health. That was the point of my last tweet. I’m sorry if that was misunderstood but his health is all that matters. Again, everything else is irrelevant. I prayed for him & will continue to.”

And if you think people have forgotten about Bayless’s statement, think again: Because Pat McAfee called him out AGAIN at last night’s ESPYs.

McAfee told the crowd:

“This year, we saw one of the most inspirational things in human history. Ladies and gentlemen, Damar Hamlin is here tonight.

We all watched the situation on ‘Monday Night Football’ as Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were trying to navigate the waters and we all at home feared for the absolute worst – and Skip Bayless was like, ‘Get that dead body off the field, we got playoff implications on the line!'”

He continued to roast Bayless for the insensitive tweet:

“He said it, the tweet’s still up. Hashtag delete the tweet, Skip.”

And in one last blow, McAfee said:

“I still don’t think Skip should’ve put that tweet out on Damar, I think that was a little insensitive.”

I mean SHEESH. McAfee was letting him have it.
