Flash Mob Breaks Out At LIV Golf Event & Twitter Is Having A Field Day With It

The PGA Tour-LIV Golf feud was pretty entertaining while it lasted, but a shocking merger last month all but ended the bad blood between the two tours, even though now we really have no idea what the difference is.

PGA Tour events are still being put on, LIV Golf events are still going on, and it’s as if the merger meant everything and nothing at the same time.

It was no secret that LIV was struggling to stay afloat (at least viewership wise), only being able to crack a deal with the CW channel (yeah, that CW) to have their tournaments on TV.

Even with the latest merger, the future of the LIV Tour is still unclear. Though the PGA agreed to come together, it still appears that they are distancing themselves from “new and different” version of golf. And that might be a good call, considering the latest, strange move by LIV Golf.

How long has it been since you saw a flash mob? At least a decade, right? They had their moment in the sun for a while, but doing one now would be a sad, lame attempt at relevancy.

Apparently no one told the LIV Tour that though, because they just recently arranged for one to happen on the first tee at their LIV Golf London event.

Take a look:

“Flash Mob breaks out on first tee before start of LIV Golf London.”

What do flash mobs and the song “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO (the song they are dancing to in the video) have in common? Their prime was in 2011, and they haven’t done much since.

As great as the choreography might have been, Twitter did not hold back in eviscerating the LIV Tour after this stunt:
