Luke Combs Look-Alike Completely Fools Crowd During Lainey Wilson’s Set At St. Louis Stadium Show

Could’ve fooled me.

I’ll admit, one of my worst personality traits is I think I see somebody I know, or even think I see somebody who is famous out in public, and realize it wasn’t who I thought it was at all. In fact, it’s actually not even close most of the time judging by my friends.

However, every now and then you actually will spot somebody who looks borderline identical to a celebrity, and think it’s y0ur first opportunity to see and meet somebody famous…

Until you’re hit with the realization that it’s just a look-alike. Or doppelganger, if you will.

With that being said, a whole section of fans were losing their mind when they thought they saw Luke Combs walk down the aisle and into the pit at his recent stadium show in St. Louis, Missouri. Luke was headlining Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals, last weekend alongside Lainey Wilson, Flatland Cavalry, Riley Green and Brent Cobb.

But the thing is, it wasn’t him at all.

In the viral TikTok, you can see a dude who has the exact same build and beard as Combs, the Blue Otter sunglasses cap, and even the iconic Columbia fishing PFG shirt that Luke wears at most of his concerts, walk past several rows of fans during Lainey Wilson’s set, and the fans’ reactions were absolutely priceless.

You see people with their phones out, videoing the guy as he’s walking down, others were clapping, patting him on the back, and throwing up high fives. One girl starts jumping up and down in a starstruck panic after a high five and a group of moms were caught looking absolutely dumbfounded that they had just witnessed the great Luke Combs.

My personal favorite is the guy in the beard, sunglasses, and pink shirt about midway through the video, who pumps his fists like his football team had just scored a touchdown.

Everything about this video is incredible, and you already know every single one of these people went home and told their friends and family that they saw Luke Combs up close and personal.

Luke Combs Announces Second Nights For All July Stadium Tour Stops

Luke Combs is doubling the fun for the July dates of his current world tour.

He announced this morning that Tampa, Florida, Charlotte, North Carolina, Foxborough, Massachusetts and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will all have Friday night shows, in addition to the previously scheduled Saturday concerts.

Luke also noted that most of these newly-added dates will have different openers from his original crew that’s been on the road with him since the tour started, because they’re last minute additions, but that doesn’t mean they’re lacking in quality by any means.

Turnpike Troubadours, The Avett Brothers, Lainey Wilson, Gary Allen, Old Crow Medicine Show, David Lee Murphy and Brent Cobb will rotate on different dates for the Friday shows… I mean, it’s just as stacked as the original lineup, and will certainly be can’t-miss shows if you were still hoping to catch Luke in a stadium this summer.

The tour started back in March and runs through October, and in a video Luke shared on Instagram announcing the shows, he says he can’t wait to play two times for these for cities next month:

“What’s up guys, Luke here. So I’ve got some exciting news for y’all, we are adding second shows to all the stadiums in July. So that’s gonna be Philly, Boston, Charlotte and Tampa, all you guys are getting a Friday night show.

All those shows are actually gonna have different lineups than Saturday night, so tickets will be released on Friday, which is super exciting. Obviously, if you’re in the Bootleggers you’re gonna get first change at those.

But we’re looking forward to doing a second night in all these cities, guys, can’t wait to see you there and we’ll see you this summer.”

Tickets for the new dates went on sale on June 9th:

“Adding new, 2nd shows on Fridays in Tampa, FL, Charlotte, NC, Foxborough, MA and Philadelphia, PA!
