LSU’s Angel Reese Calls Jill Biden “A Joke” For Suggesting That Iowa Should Visit The White House

This past Sunday, LSU took home the Women’s College Basketball National Championship after defeating Iowa 102-85.

Going into the game, all eyes were on Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, who is unquestionably the best player in all of Women’s College Basketball at the moment.

Although Clark had a great game against LSU in the Natty, many eyes have turned to LSU’s Angel Reese.

The 20-year-old sophomore went viral for mimicking Clark’s John Cena “You Can’t See Me” celebration at the end of the game on Sunday, causing a MASSIVE mix of positive and negative responses on social media.

One of those positive responses came from legendary NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, who called out sports talk show host Keith Olbermann.

Olbermann tweeted out:

“What a f*cking idiot”

Shaq then responded:

“Shut your dumb a** up leave Angel Reese alone.”

And now, Reese is in the headlines once again.

After LSU’s win, First Lady Jill Biden thought it would be a good idea to invite both Iowa and LSU to the White House to celebrate. Of course, it has always been the winning team who gets to go to the White House, so this completely broke tradition.

According to FOX News, Biden said:

“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come.

But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”

Needless to say, Reese didn’t take too fondly of the double invite, as she quote tweeted an article with Biden’s comments, typing several laughing face emojis and saying:

“A JOKE.”

I can’t really say I blame her for this one.

Typically, that’s always one of the privileges of winning a championship, and inviting Iowa to come as well after they lost is basically like handing out a participation trophy.

But hey, what do I know?
