And now his mom’s talking about it on a podcast…
The mother of Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis joined the Ross Tucker Podcast recently to discuss her new mental health-focused apparel brand, Chill Life Style. And as it turns out, the brand was inspired by…an intimate video of her son and his now-ex-girlfriend that was leaked a couple of years ago.
The videos of Levis and his then-girlfriend Gia Duddy went viral a couple of years ago, after Levis had finished up his rookie season with the Titans. Obviously the incident caused the couple a lot of embarrassment: According to Beth Levis, he knew at the time of the leak that a lot of people would see it, including those close to him.
She also revealed that the quarterback went to great lengths – and cost – to try to have it removed from the internet:
“Will ended up engaging and hiring a cybersecurity specialist and private investigator, and spent an exorbitant amount of money to try to get to the bottom of this and through that, try to scrape … what they could to make this go away.”
While she says he was able to get the videos taken down from a lot of places, she acknowledges that it’s impossible to truly remove anything from the internet forever:
“Ultimately a lot of the content was taken, but you know you can never scrape anything entirely from the internet. It’s there forever. There is a footprint, unfortunately.”
In the wake of the leaks, there were quite a few trolls who accused Duddy – or Levis himself – of leaking the videos, given that they came out shortly after the couple broke up. But the quarterback’s mother says that experts were able to trace the leaks to a hacker group based overseas:
“We did find out that actually this content was stolen and his private – either laptop or digital platform, phone, whatever, was actually breached and invaded a year or two earlier when he was in college. And we come to find out this was an Eastern European hacking group that is notorious for trying to target what they think might be an attractive couple that they can then expose and … do what they do for attention.”
Beth Levis says that the incident, combined with another incident involving her high school age daughter who was targeted on an online forum at her school, inspired her to focus her Chill Life Style brand to emphasize the importance of “taking time out from our devices” and form meaningful relationships with those around us.
Of course, there were many online who pointed out that it’s a little awkward for a mother to be online talking about her son’s leaked videos…
But hey, kudos to her and her family for trying to turn such a disgusting situation into something positive.
As for Will Levis, the quarterback won the starting job midway through his rookie year in 2023, and started the entire 2024 season for the Titans before suffering a season-ending injury prior to the 2025 season and being forced to undergo surgery on his throwing shoulder.
The Titans drafted Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the #1 draft pick in 2025, and Ward came in as the starter and led the team to a 3-14 record that led to coach Brian Callahan being fired midway through the season.
