Luke Bell’s Acoustic Performance Of “Glory And The Grace” At His Wyoming Ranch Will Bring The Chills

What a gem of a video.

Country singer Luke Bell tragically passed away last August at the age of 32, because of what Pima County Medical Examiner’s office in Tuscon, Arizona, confirmed was due to “fentanyl intoxication.”

Bell instantly turned heads in 2014 with the release of his album, Don’t Mind If I Do, and the follow up self-titled project in 2016.

Gaining traction with country music fans, and the industry as a whole, Luke quickly became one of the most promising acts in the business, opening for the likes of Willie Nelson and Hank Williams Jr.

However, right as his music career appeared to be taking off, he, for the most part, disappeared. Known to hop trains and travel around, he perfectly captivated the drifter lifestyle, spending time in Kentucky, Wyoming, Austin, Texas, Nashville, and Tucson.

He played some shows here and there, but for the most part, country music fans have spent the better part of the past five years wondering when he might put out another project.

And today, Western AF, a Youtube channel that showcases western and indie artists, shared a video of Luke from almost 10 years ago playing “Glory And The Grace,” from his 2014 Don’t Mind If I Do album, at his Wyoming ranch.

In the description of the video, it sounds like most of their time doing this was spent riding around and basking in the glory of the Wyoming mountains, but they did find a few minutes to film this incredible video, which features Luke at home where he was most comfortable just doing what he does best:

“We mostly just drove around Park County, pulling back beers, working on our yodeling voices, and enjoying the Wyoming mountains.

It was a good time in our lives. We were both young creatives coming into our own, and hoping that our efforts will take us somewhere. Luke’s creativity, charm, and confidence was taking his places.

He would eventually in the coming years get himself the record deal of a lifetime. Stardom would come soon enough.”

An incredible young talent gone way too soon… RIP Luke.
