A little gas on the fire…

Maren Morris is clapping back at Brittany Aldean, wife of Jason Aldean, by sharing a viral Spirit Halloween meme with a costume inspired by their ongoing feud, and it’s pretty ruthless.

To recap as quickly as possible, the fight between them started when Brittany shared a video to Instagram of her trying some of her beauty products with the caption:

“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life”

The post garnered a number of likes and comments with Jason responding:

“Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”

The post received a number of positive comments and likes from Lara Trump, the wife of Donald Trump’s son Eric, RaeLynn, Summer Pardi, and more.

However, the post didn’t go over quite so well for the likes of other country artists, including Cassadee Pope, who shared to Twitter:

“You’d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging.

But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their ‘tomboy phase’ to someone wanting to transition. Real nice.”

Maren Morris then responded to Pope’s tweet, calling Brittany Aldean “Insurrection Barbie.”

“It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ons and zip it, insurrection Barbie.”

Brittany then responded on her Instagram story, tagging Maren Morris in a post calling her “Karen Morris” and thanking her for calling her Barbie.

It’s been a whole thing over on social media, and the drama has also resulted in Maren saying that she doesn’t know if she’ll attend the CMA Awards this year, because she says she doesn’t feel comfortable going right now and that she feels like defending country music is like being in an abusive relationship.

But back to the costume…

The photo Maren shared on Instagram is called “Lunatic Country Music Person,” which is referencing a comment Tucker Carlson made when Brittany appeared on his show to talk about this fight, and apparently comes with “a tambourine, inclusive fans, a pickleball paddle, wig and beef with transphobes.”

The list also says that “tall guy not included,” referencing Maren’s husband and fellow artist, Ryan Hurd.

Maren shared it with the caption:

“S P O O K Y S Z N”

Yikes…

We’ll see if Brittany fires back with a costume of her own:
