No, it’s not April Fools….
Kane Brown’s cereal is coming to a Kroger near you (well, if you’re in parts of Tennessee).
The cereal was originally unveiled earlier this year, going for $10 a box on his website, yep… $10 for a box of cereal. But hey, when you’re charging $85 bucks for a plain t-shirt that says “Family,” $10 cereal sounds like a steal.
According to FOX17, Kroger supermarket chain has officially announced the Kane Brown cereal is launching throughout Nashville and Knoxville.
Dubbed Kane Krunch, the cereal is chocolatey rice flavored (so Cocoa Krispies?), and will feature the the pop singer’s face on the box.
And at $3.99 a box, it’s much more reasonable than ordering through his website.
However, it’s all for a good cause, as each product sold will go to various unnamed charities supporting the U.S. armed forces, youth, and affordable housing initiatives.
Nevertheless, this is still pretty confusing. Is Kane Brown the face of mainstream country music? How in the world did they come to a deal like this?
Or is it because his audience is primarily 12 year old girls… and they still eat chocolate cereal?
