Sylvester Stallone Replaces Tattoo Of His Wife’s Face With Picture Of Butkus The Dog From ‘Rocky’

Sylvester Stallone

A little trouble in paradise, aye?

According to Page Six, famed actor Sylvester Stallone has recently covered up his famous bicep tattoo, which originally was the face of his wife, Jennifer Flavin.

One would naturally think that there might be some internal issues going on there, but one of Stallone’s reps swears that there is no deeper meaning behind it.

Instead, he posted, but has since deleted, Instagram photos of tattoo artist Zach Perez replacing the tattoo of Flavin with Butkus, the legendary Bullmastiff from Stallone’s hit movie, Rocky.

The original tattoo of Flavin included her face, along with roses surrounded her head, but an image of the famous doggo has now replaced it.

Perez commented on the new art on August 16th:

“Greatest day of my tattoo career! Thank you for trusting me with your tattoo today Sylvester Stallone.”

Once some buzz began to swirl about the status of Stallone and Flavin’s marriage of 25 years, the 76-year-old star wiped the photos clean from his account.

However, the tattoo cover up may not be the only concern, though.

Flavin, 54, no longer follows Stallone on Instagram, and she posted a photo of her hugging her three daughters, saying:

“These girls are my priority, nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever.”

“The 4 of us?” No bueno.

Flavin, a skincare founder, married Stallone in 1997, and they share three daughters, Sophia, 25, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.

Stallone’s publicist Michelle Bega told the Daily Mail that it was all a misunderstanding:

“Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife, Jennifer, however the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable. As a result, he had to cover the original image with a tattoo of his dog from ‘Rocky,’ Butkus.”

She added that Stallone very much loves his family, and it’s nothing more than a tattoo cover up.

But in other news, the legendary actor is currently filming for his lead role in Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming TV series, Tulsa King, which is slated to drop on November 13th.
