Yesterday, we learned the news that arguably the hardest hitting running back in NFL history, Marshawn Lynch, was arrested for DUI in Vegas.
Police say that they pulled over the 36-year-old after he was seen bumping into curbs at 7:25 AM yesterday morning near the Vegas strip on Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Avenue.
He refused to take a breathalyzer test, but agreed to have his blood drawn.
And judging by his mug shot, the man looked like he had more than just a couple…
With that being said, more details have been released about the arrest, as photos from TMZ show his 2020 Shelby GT500 missing a tire as it sits on the side of the road.
Now it’s uncertain when the tire went missing, but to think about that car going down the road with sparks flying from the front end and him not being aware is wild.
I mean, he grinded it down to nothing…
We also now know that Lynch is being charged with failure/refusing to surrender proof of security, unregistered vehicle, and failure to drive in a travel lane.
Las Vegas police shared in a statement:
“The LVMPD conducted a vehicle stop at Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Avenue (near Wyoming and Las Vegas BLVD) on a driver, later identified as Marshawn Lynch, for suspected driver impairment.
Through the course of the investigation, officers determined that Lynch was impaired and conducted an arrest. Lynch was transported to the Las Vegas City Jail and booked for driving under the influence.”
Lynch is due in court at some point in December, and the arrest happened a little over 24 hours after the Seattle Seahawks announced he would be a special correspondent for the team, where he’ll produce creative content for a number of projects for the organization for the upcoming season.
