The Alcoholic Version Of Taco Bell’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast Hits Shelves Today

Hard Mtn Dew

Gotta admit, I’m not a seltzer guy.

But I AM a Baja Blast guy.

There’s absolutely no better fast food drink out there than Taco Bell’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast. I can’t go through the drive-thru for my Crunchwrap Supreme or my Cheesy Gordita Crunch without ordering a delicious Baja Blast to go with it.

And when you’re drunk and you make the Uber take you through Taco Bell on the way home there’s NOTHING that tastes better. It’s science. (Ok it’s not science, but I’ve tested it so many times that it might as well be).

Boston Beer Company announced last year that they were partnering with PepsiCo to make a hard seltzer version of Mountain Dew that would come in three different flavors: Original, Black Cherry and Watermelon. And late last month, they made a surprise announcement that there was actually going to be a fourth flavor in the lineup too: Hard Baja Blast.

And if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on it, it looks like your day has finally come.

Hard Mtn Dew is hitting the shelves today at select retailers in Tennessee, Iowa and Florida, with the boozy beverage rolling out in more states throughout 2022.

But if you’re not in one of those states and really wanna try that hard Baja Blast, they’re also giving away a trip to Nashville for two that includes a tasting experience and some spending money, and you can enter at HowFarForHardDew.com.

The flavored malt beverage is caffeine free with zero sugar added, coming in at 5% ABV. It’s going to be available in 24-oz tall boy single-serve cans, or you can get a 12-count variety pack of the 12-oz cans if you want to try all the different flavors.

Looks like I’ve got to hit the store and see if I can pick up a case of these bad boys. Might even pick up some Taco Bell on the way home to get the full experience.
