It looks like Maddie & Tae are going to have to wait a little bit longer to hit the road in 2022.
They recently announced a new album coming soon, Through The Madness Vol. 1., as well as a headlining tour that was slated for January, the CMT Next Women of Country Tour Presents: All Song No Static Tour.
Unfortunately, Taylor Kerr, who is pregnant with her first child, will have to be on bed rest for a while due to doctors orders.
They gave fans an update on Instagram, saying that Taylor and the baby are doing great and they’re still planning to put out new music, but that the tour will have to wait a few more months:
“As excited as we are to get out on the road and see everyone, we are holding off on our return a little bit longer. Tae and her baby are doing great, but the doctor has placed her on temporary bed rest.
Out of precaution, we are postponing our upcoming tour dates including CMT Next Women of Country: All Son No Static Tour. Reschedule dates to be announced soon!
We appreciate your understanding and we’ll be back on tour with new music as soon as we can! May you and yours have a holiday full of joy and blessings! We love you!”
They also noted that they were working on rescheduling the dates as soon as possible:
“Rescheduled dates coming soon. We love y’all. Thank you all for so much love and all the prayers. It means the world!”
Their new album is set to be released on January 28th, and will include their latest singles “Woman You Got” and “Madness,” and will also includes collaborations with country superstars like Morgane Stapleton and Lori McKenna.
