Morgan Wallen Delivers Surprise Performance At Luke Bryan’s Nashville Show, Joins Aldean For “She’s Country”

Morgan Wallen is back on stage.

He’s posted videos of new songs here and there on social media, and even popped up at Kid Rock’s bar to do an impromptu performance, but he finally made his first major concert appearance since everything went down with his racial slur incident back in February at Luke Bryan’s concert last night.

He surprised fans, and even Luke, at Nashville’s Bridgestone arena for a stop on the Proud To Be Right Here Tour.

Morgan was originally scheduled to be on this tour with Luke, but later announced he would not be playing any shows this summer due to everything going on in his personal life.

After a recent interview with GMA that covered a wide range of topics about his life and thoughts since the incident occurred earlier this year, it seemed as though he was ready to fully step back into the spotlight and start making (and playing) music again.

And it looks like that may be the case. Jason Aldean, who also made a surprise appearance at the show, introduced Morgan to a very unsuspecting crowd, saying:

“A really good friend of mine is here backstage tonight. I don’t know if you know this.”

And it sounds like Luke didn’t even know he was there, either:

“Do I need another tequila shot to get through this?”

Morgan walked out to an absolutely ecstatic crowd, and he was joined on stage by the aforementioned Luke and Jason, as well as FGL’s Tyler Hubbard.

He introduced his #1 song “More Than My Hometown” with some honesty as he began to play it acoustically for the huge, sold-out crowd:

“This is a song about staying true to yourself.

And that’s been a really hard thing for me to do lately, but here I am.”

He also played his massive hit “Whiskey Glasses” and the people seemed to absolutely love it:

The four of them even performed Jason’s song “She’s Country”:
