Nashville is BACK.

And so is Morgan Wallen apparently.

With his first performance since the racial slur incident this past February, Morgan made his official return to the stage at none other than Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville (ironically enough, it’s the same bar that he got arrested at almost two years ago to the day).

Spotted hanging out in a balcony with Kid Rock himself, Morgan eventually made his way down to the stage for a two-song performance.

Taking the stage with the John Stone Band, Morgan performed “Wasted On You” from his double album, Dangerous.

He also performed his smash hit, “Whiskey Glasses.”

With ol’ John Stone (great name by the way) capturing the performance from the stage.

I guess he knows the owner…

Kid Rock took the stage as well, performing his 2007 hit, “All Summer Long.”

Morgan recently penned a handwritten letter to fans, thanking them for support, but also announcing his plans (or lack thereof) for the summer.

He assured fans that he would be back sooner rather than later, but also that he wouldn’t be performing at all this summer.

“I’m back in Nashville getting back in the swing of things and you guys can rest assured that I’m looking forward to giving you guys what you deserve, especially after all you’ve done for me.

My story is far from over and getting back out to see y’all is is all I can think about. So just know it will be sooner rather than later.”

Here’s his entire statement:

Looks like it was sooner.
