We got something brewing in Bristol, Tennessee…

No, it’s not the Bristol dirt race (even though that was insanely entertaining this past Monday). The Birthplace of Country Music has announced its out of this world lineup for this year’s 20th anniversary for the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion in September.

The Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is a yearly event that brings in all sorts of great established artists and up and coming artists, from genres such as folk, Americana, bluegrass, country, indie-rock, you name it.

And this year, they’ve got some badass headliners in Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Tanya Tucker, Blackberry Smoke, Dr. Dog, Yola, Hayes Carll, and even The Steeldrivers (Chris Stapleton’s former band) and Rhonda Vincent.

On top of that, they’ve announced more great acts today, such as The Steel Woods, Charley Crockett, American Aquarium, Morgan Wade, Son Little, the Lonesome River Band, Town Mountain, Ian Noe, and more.

Last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic, and BCM executive director Leah Ross has high hopes for this year’s event after last year’s huge hit:

“We worked hard to keep our lineup as consistent as we could with the lineup we had hoped to have at last year’s cancelled event, but the pandemic forced us to make some difficult decisions.

The music and tourism industries have been hit hard by COVID-19, and our Downtown businesses are struggling to survive… We hope our festival provides a boost to Bristol’s economy to help get us back on track.”

Weekend passes for the event are $100 plus tax and fees. For more information, visit BristolRhythm.com
