Jelly Roll isn’t holding back.
The country rapper and Nashville native, whose real name is Jason DeFord, recently took to social media to blast country singer Dylan Scott, who scored a #1 hit with his 2019 single “My Girl.”
In response to a question about which celebrity has you blocked, Jelly Roll revealed that Dylan Scott blocked him on Twitter after a CMA event.
According to Jelly Roll, Dylan had apparently gone on a rant about whether or not Lil Nas X was “real country.” So “Uncle Roll” said he had to set Dylan Scott straight:
“I just f*cking had to be honest with him and tell him, ‘Dude, you suck.’
For those of y’all that don’t know this guy, he’s like pop country, his music sucks donkey d*ck, he is the least streamed artist on his label AND publishing company.
So let’s talk about what is and isn’t country music again you f*cking douche canoe.”
Brutal. But also, he’s not wrong.
