Absolutely heartbreaking.
Dawn Bilbrough is a critical care nurse in the United Kingdom, and after she finished up a 48-hour shift, she stopped by the supermarket to pick up some fresh fruits and vegetables to eat.
Unfortunately, thanks to Coronavirus and food-hoarding morons that are buying everything in site, she couldn’t find any. Breaking down into tears, she recorded this video begging people to stop.
“I just don’t know how I’m supposed to stay healthy… People who are just stripping the shelves of basic foods. You just need to stop it, because it’s people like me that are going to be looking after you when you’re at your lowest. Just stop it, please.”
Dawn is out here busting her ass, taking care of dozens and dozens of sick people for two days straight, and can’t even get a damn banana… it’s shameful. I feel like it shouldn’t take this kind of video to remind grown-ass adults to share basic necessities like food and toilet paper, but apparently, that’s what a global pandemic does to people.
By the way, I’m nearly out of toilet paper, and I can’t find any at the store… it’s not looking good.
