Gotta love March Madness
Already some big upsets in the NCAA Tournament as we saw #7 Louisville fall to #10 Minnesota and #12 Murray State top #5 Marquette, but over here in country music world, shit is getting even crazier. As we head into the final hours of voting for the Round of 64, we have some massive upsets brewing, that, if they hold, could be huge in the rounds to come.
As of right now, #13 Tyler Childers is putting a first-round smackdown on #4 Florida Georgia Line with a pretty sizable lead. #5 Kelsea Ballerini is falling to #12 Morgan Wallen at the moment, while #13 Randy Houser has all but destroyed #4 Dan + Shay. # 5 Kane Brown has a huge mountain to climb if he wants to beat out #12 Midland and finally, #14 Chase Rice has solid, but not safe lead on #3 Thomas Rhett.
Like I said, shit is getting crazy in here. But, with less than 12 hours to go, and votes still pouring in, anything can happen.
Voting for Round 1 ends Saturday, March 23rd at 3:00am CT and Round 2 voting will resume shortly thereafter at 5:00am CT. And remember, you can vote every 5 minutes, so as they say here in Chicago, vote early and vote often.
