I guess that’s one way to apologize… or… not take the hint?
This week, Ella Langley went viral following an interaction with a fan, and because her stardom comes along with a lot of attention, she has a very loyal following of male fans who affectionately call themselves “Ella Fellas,” and it’s actually pretty cute. It’s all in good fun, and one Ella Fella in particular tried to shoot their shot, so to speak, and let’s just say, it didn’t exactly go well.
In a video that now has over 3 million views on TikTok, you see a fan yell at Ella through a parking garage, asking her how many likes his TikTok would need to get for him to be able to take her out on a date:
“Ella, how many likes to take you on a date?”
You can hear Ella say back:
“There’s not enough in the world.”
He then looked at the camera and laughed, saying:
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
As it turns out, the guy who made the video, Tiki, is a content creator and streamer, so obviously this whole was more for social media than anything else:

But of course, because Ella is THE girl right now, the video went mega viral, and plenty of people weighed in on her reaction, with many displeased with what she said and how she said it.
And because the video went so viral, Ella took time to leave a comment explaining herself, saying her response was meant “as dark humor,” but she knows it didn’t land due to the look on her face. She added that regardless, “it takes more than likes on a TikTok,” adding that she’s “still a human”:
“This was definitely meant as dark humor, and it obviously didn’t land due to my face. I will say, it takes more than likes a on TikTok. I’m still a human.”
Ella of course doesn’t owe any kind of explanation to someone screaming at her through a parking garage fence, but still… she was nice enough to respond.
She also didn’t mention that she’s been spotted out with fellow country artist Tucker Wetmore and they’re rumored to be an item, but still, I get her point. It takes a little more than TikTok likes to get a date with the biggest star in music right now… sorry fellas.
And even though many weirdos online were offended by this video, it seems like Tiki didn’t take it too hard, as he shared an update that he went to the store and bought her tons of flowers, I mean an insane amount of flowers, and he says if the likes aren’t enough, he hopes these flowers are.
But if not, he’s okay with that, he just wants to come to a show and hug her, saying he’s an “Ella Fella” forever:
“Ella, you said there’s no amount of likes in the world that could get me to take you on a date, I hope this amount of flowers is enough. And if not, let me come to your concert and at least just give you a hug. I’m an Ella Fella forever, I love you.”
I think Tiki’s gonna be just fine… and clearly, he’s very much enjoying all the online attention, which I think was the real motivation behind that first video anyways. Looks like he got what he wanted and then some out of all of it.
So far, no comment from Ella, but stay tuned…

Ella will be featured on Miranda Lambert’s Crisco album, which drops next Friday, on a song called “Snakeskin Boots,” a disco and western-inspired song.
