Megan Moroney is entering her pink era, and I’m HERE for it.
The country superstar is seemingly gearing up to announce a new album, and it seems the next color theme will be pink, as she shared a teaser on her social media pages this morning where you see her walking up to a window in blue, and opening it to the outside and it all changes to pink.
Of course, blue has been the theme of her Am I Okay? album tour, and the cover art for her recent single “6 Months Later” had her in a light purple look, but it seems like that was a way to throw fans off because it definitely looks like this next album will be all pink:
Just abut a week ago, she shared a post with tons of photos from her Am I Okay? promo with the caption:
“Goodbye blue.”
In October, Moroney revealed that her part of the album in terms of writing and recording was done, but there was still some producing that needed to happen in terms of mixing and mastering.
At that point last month, she said the record was around 93% done, so I would expect this album is due to come out sometime in early 2026:
“On my end, it’s done. But then it takes a lot. It’s gotta get mixed, it’s gotta get mastered, it takes a whole thing. But I am happy that on my part, it’s 100% done. On everyone else’s part, if it was 80% done before, maybe it’s 93%. That feels right.”
It would seem that an album announcement is certainly happening this week, and maybe even as soon as tomorrow, and she also changed her profile photo on Instagram to a headshot that has been turned pink, so you can pretty much bet this next chapter will be all about the pink, and as a pink lover myself, I absolutely love it. It’s already in contention fr my favorite Megan Moroney album…
So far from the unofficially announced record, Megan has released “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things,” and fans have also peculated that the album’s titled could be Cloud 9, though obviously we will have to wait and see what she has up her sleeve for MM3.
I have loved everything she’s teased and released from it so far, and judging by the excitement of her fans already, this next record promises to be her best and biggest yet.
