Love it for these guys.
I knew just how big the Red Clay Strays were going to be the first time I saw them perform live. It was a couple years ago at a festival, in the middle of the summer, and it was about 100 degrees outside. (No, that’s not an exaggeration). Yet I still got chills listening to them.
Since their debut in 2022 with Moment of Truth, which contains the smash hit, “Wondering Why,” the band has exploded up the ranks in the alt. country scene. Between frontman Brandon Coleman’s killer vocals, the flawless blend of country and southern rock influences and the sheer musical talent present from each of the five members, the Alabama band has proven themselves as one of the best in the business over the past three years.
Over the summer, the band made their headlining debut at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, performing three sold-out shows in Morrison, Colorado. But now, they’re heading to an even bigger stage: Madison Square Garden.
Last night, the band posted a teaser to their social media about a big announcement coming this morning.
And this morning, the Red Clay Strays confirmed that they will be headlining the famed Madison Square Garden in New York City on August 9, 2026, and they’re bringing along special guests The Revivalists and Brent Cobb.

Red Clay Strays frontman Brandon Coleman called the opportunity to headline the famed venue a bucket list item:
“Never would have thought we’d be headlining Madison Square Garden. We are very grateful to be checking this one off the bucket list!”
The presale for tickets to the show starts HERE next Thursday, November 13 from 10am ET/9am CT until 11:59pm ET, with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, November 14 at 9am.

2026 is going to be an absolutely massive year for the Red Clay Strays. Recently, the country rock band from Mobile, Alabama appeared on The Joe Rogan Podcast and gave us a preview of what’s in store for next year.
Brandon Coleman (frontman), Andy Bishop (bassist) and Drew Nix (guitarist) all sat down with Rogan and discussed their careers, how the band formed, names the group almost went by, a new single that’s on the way, and how their faith has guided them throughout everything.
But it quickly became clear that The Red Clay Strays have a new project on the way, and Joe Rogan has already heard the whole thing. The podcast host was talking with the band about how well they all get along when he threw this comment out there:
“The final product is amazing, and the new album is really f***ing good. It’s coming out in June of next year? Is that when it’s supposed to come out? The press thing I got said June of next year, I was like, ‘This should come out now.'”
And in the room, it certainly seemed like there was a “Was Joe supposed to say that?” kind of vibe. The Red Clay Strays went along with it, and Brandon Coleman was the first to respond to Rogan’s question:
“We’re shooting for summer of next year. We don’t really know yet.”
The band’s bassist, Andy Bishop, then chimed in and seemingly confirmed that the news Joe Rogan had just broken was just meant for Joe Rogan to know:
“You’re probably the only one that’s supposed to know that.”
New music, a headlining show at Madison Square Garden, and hopefully some more big shows (or even a tour) to go along with it.
The sky really is the limit for the Red Clay Strays right now.
