Live for the first time.
This past weekend, Post Malone’s 2025 BIG ASS Stadium Tour rolled through his hometown of Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia, and where he was joined by surprise guests like 21 Savage, his “rockstar” collaborator, as well as Joe Jonas, who performed with opener Sierra Ferrell.
But he also added a new song to his set list, his new duet with Morgan Wallen called “I Ain’t Comin’ Back,” which is featured on Morgan’s forthcoming album I’m the Problem that’s due out everywhere this Friday, May 16th. Written by Morgan and Post along with Hardy, Ernest, Louis Bell and Ryan Vojtesak, it finds them lamenting the end of a relationship and getting out faster than Richard Petty on a race track:

I tend to favor this one over their smash collab “I Had Some Help,” but maybe that’s just because I haven’t heard it a million times over yet…
When introducing the song, he told the crowd it was his first time performing it live:
“Maybe a couple weeks ago, I”m not sure, There’s a beautiful, mustachioed man by the name of Morgan Wallen, and we made a song together along time ago. But he just put it out, and hopefully I f******* remember the lyrics and at least someone here knows this f****** song. If you do, please feel free to sing it as loud as you can. It’s called ‘I Ain’t Comin’ Back.'”

Only time will tell if this song will be as big as “I Had Some Help,” but it had a strong debut and is climbing the charts, so I imagine it will go to the top somewhere before it’s all said and done.
Post’s stadium tour just kicked off, so there are many more stops and it will run through July if you’re anywhere near him on this run. His concert was one of my favorites I went to last year, and he has his country band out with him, which makes everything from F-1 Trillion that much better live.
