Zach Bryan Diss Track Removed From YouTube After Copyright Claims From His Record Label

Not a fan of that one, eh?

The breakup between Zach Bryan and Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry (whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia) has already been a nasty one, with Zach announcing the breakup on his Instagram story and Brianna releasing a tearful video claiming that she was blindsided by the announcement and hoping to keep it private.

One of Bri’s biggest supporters has been her boss, Barstool founder and CEO Dave Portnoy. Brianna co-hosts the BFFs podcast alongside Portnoy and Josh Richards, and while they didn’t record an episode following the breakup, Portnoy did address it on another podcast, and didn’t hold back while sharing his feelings about Zach Bryan:

“I was never a liker. How do you like that? I was never a liker…

I think he’s a fraud. Every time I met him I was not comfortable with him. Certain guys where you’re like, ‘Ok I kinda like this guy, he’s a gives good vibes guy.’ This guy never gave that vibe to me.”

And he also revealed that Zach had previously banned him from a concert because of a joke Portnoy had made months prior:

“Apparently, Zach went back, like, how many months was it? It had to be six months… we at one time on BFFs had a discussion where Bri just got a new boyfriend, and we’re like, ‘Whoa, that’s like your third boyfriend in barely a couple months.’

I’m like, ‘You’re a revolving door of boyfriends lately. He saw that, flipped… six months prior, and banned us from going to the concert. Bri was like, ‘It’s the first, biggest fight we’ve been in.’ I’m like this is what we do, like we joke, like what are you mad about?”

So yeah, not really a surprise that Portnoy isn’t a Zach Bryan fan.

And last night, he and Richards decided to drop the hottest diss track of the year on the country superstar.

Called “Smallest Man,” an ode to Taylor Swift’s “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” after Zach previously upset Swifties for saying that Kanye is better than Swift, the duo pulled no punches in calling out Zach for his alleged infidelity – and much more:

“If Zach is awake I know that he’s been drinkin’
Head looks like a Lego, hair like Homer Simpson
This is for the women that you cheated and neglected
Music is infectious, your penis is infected
You gave out STDs and then you start to spiral
Zach, that’s not what we mean by going viral”

There’s also a portion where they parody Zach’s song “28.”

“How lucky is Bri to be free of ZB and his STDs”

And it seems that part of the song may have gotten Portnoy and Richards in trouble.

After originally being released on all platforms, the video has since been removed from YouTube due to a copyright claim from Zach’s record label, Warner Music Group.

Yeah, gotta think they weren’t happy about that one.

Of course blocking it on YouTube doesn’t really do much, because it’s still available on streaming platforms, TikTok and the BFFs podcast Twitter account.

It seems like there’s really only one thing for Zach to do here: Drop a diss track of his own. He’s a prolific songwriter, so you know he could write a banger if he wanted to.
