“You Want To Die?”: Caveman Brawl Almost Breaks Out Over Mountain Goats at Glacier National Park

Glacier Brawl

Chaos on the trail… where’s a grizzly when you need one?

A heated confrontation at Montana’s Glacier National Park is going viral for all the wrong reasons… well, maybe the right reasons when you talk about going viral. It has everything you’re looking for in a viral video… comedy, anger, mild violence, bros hiking in Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops… what more could you ask for?

The whole thing got started when these two dudes, wearing some combination of Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops, and carrying around a soccer ball (it’s a national park, not Central Park), hiked off the trail and up a rocky hillside toward some mountain goats. Right off the bat… big mistake. While you can go off-trail in some areas, you can get fined or in trouble with park rangers for going off-trail in other areas of the park… but these guys don’t exactly look like the type to know or care about the park rules. It’s unclear if they were off-trail or not. You can clearly see a path of some kind that leads up to where they were… but that doesn’t mean it’s legal.

But to make matters worse, they were off-trail to get closer to the wildlife—in this case, a group of mountain goats. Have you ever seen a mountain goat up close? They’re absolutely jacked… built like a brick outhouse. And while they’re not normally very aggressive to humans, I certainly wouldn’t want to tangle with one… that’s why the park tells you to keep your distance. But once again, these guys don’t exactly look like the type to know or care about keeping a safe distance.

So when another dude starts yelling at them to get back on the trail… all hell breaks loose. Roll the tape:

PEAK comedy… no pun intended.

To be fair, the bros tell the guy to “mind his business,” and after the first warning, he probably should’ve taken that advice. Do you really want to get into a fight with these two morons? Over this? Just give them a friendly warning and move on with your life. If they get railroaded by a mountain goat… it’s on them.

But of course, that doesn’t happen and a full-blown argument ensues.

“Shut up b***! You’re just jealous because you didn’t f***ing hike this.”

What a comeback…

They get down the hill and put their hands up, when flip-flop bro hits him with the:

“How much is it worth it to you, huh?”

Which, once again, I have to agree with… is any of this worth a fight? Grow up, dorks. But then it takes a turn for the worse when the guy who called them out picks up a big rock, presumably to use as a weapon. And then Hawaiian shirt picks up a rock of his own, and we have a caveman brawl about to get underway.

“Do you really want to do this mf****? Get the f out of here… you want to die, don’t you?”

Luckily, cooler heads prevail and no punches (or rocks) are actually thrown, but what an absolutely embarrassing display of childish nonsense. I can’t imagine what the mountain goats are thinking watching this all go down. And if it wasn’t pathetic enough, it sounds like flip-flops-and-soccer-ball guy rattles off a handful of n-words at the end there. I assume it’ll only be a matter of time before he’s identified and loses his job.

But all of that to say once again… is any of that worth it? While these two bros are obviously ignorant “tourons,” I can’t imagine wasting my time or energy on them like our hall monitor here. Give ’em a friendly warning and move on. Why are you so desperate to fight these two clowns? Don’t be any of these guys…

Oh, and here’s a mountain goat up close…
