A very classy move from Kyle Larson.
NASCAR legend Kyle Busch sadly passed away on May 21st, 2026 at the age of 41 due to pneumonia that progressed into sepsis. It was very sudden, and in the week and half or so since his death, tons of tributes from fans and drivers have poured in.
Larson often donates his dirt racing victory money to various charities and causes close to his heart, as he regularly competes in sprint car races during the week when he isn’t racing at the Cup Series level, and needless to say, he wins a lot.
And on Monday night at the Iowa Lottery Duel Davenport High Limit Sprint Car Race in Davenport, Iowa, Larson honored Busch with the iconic Busch bow after the win, something Kyle was known for after winning his own races and we’ve seen several drivers do since his passing.
But he also decided to donate all of the prize money to Kyle and Samantha Busch’s Bundle of Joy Fund, which is a charity the couple founded after going through their own struggles with infertility for many years and realizing how expensive it is to do. Of course, they were able to afford all of the treatments and eventually had two children, Brexton (11) and Lennix (4), but they knew there were thousands of couples out there going through the same thing that couldn’t afford to do all of the IVF treatments they did.
So, they started The Bundle of Joy Fund, and since its inception in 2015, the foundation has issued 176 grants totaling $2.388 million, which has helped bring 111 babies into the world, according to their website.
After Larson’s win, he spoke about how important the Bundle of Joy fund is and was to Kyle and Samantha, and he also spoke about looking forward to honoring Kyle’s life, which occurred yesterday in a private ceremony in the Charlotte area:
“This time, I’m going to send it to Kyle and Samantha Busch’s foundation, the Bundle of Joy. We all know how much the Busch family means to all of us, and we greatly miss Kyle, so we get to celebrate his life tomorrow, so I’m looking forward to doing that and I want to send that money to them.”
The Larson family has been a class act throughout this horrifically sad situation, and I’m sure it would mean the world to Kyle to see how his fellow drivers have stepped up and done whatever they can to honor and carry on his legacy:

Larson also tipped his cap to Busch with his “Tiny Kyle” name rail, which appeared on his Sprint Cup cars in Charlotte and this past weekend in Nashville, which he says Samantha told his wife, Katelyn, Brexton got a good laugh out of.
Larson’s daughter, Audrey, did her own Kyle Busch bow at a dirt track win last week, and his son, Owen, who is the same age as Brexton, had a viral moment ahead of the Coca-Cola 600 race when he hugged Brexton during the pre-race ceremony’s honoring Kyle, which happened just days after his father’s unexpected death:
