This Zillow Listing Sure Seems Like A Promotion For Kacey Musgraves’ Upcoming Album ‘Middle Of Nowhere’

Some pretty clever album promotion from Kacey Musgraves and her team.

We’re just a couple of weeks away from the release of the country music singer’s new project, Middle of Nowhere. The rollout for the record has been a whole lot of fun, to say the least. Musgraves put up billboards all over the place asking questions like, “Dry Spell?” or “Horny?” with further instructions to “call for a real good time.”

Once she dropped the single “Dry Spell,” it was very clear what the theming of Middle of Nowhere was going to lean into.

Fans of Kacey Musgraves have been patiently waiting for more news and additional, interactive marketing from the “Golden Hour” singer, and it appears that they got what they’ve been asking for in the form of a… house listing. That’s right. There’s a “Charming Pink Bungalow” that’s now listed on Zillow, and it’s simply overflowing with Kacey Musgraves/Middle of Nowhere puns.

Heck, the location of the home is “Middle of Nowhere, Texas.”

It’s also listed under “Lost Highway Realty,” and if you don’t know, Kacey is with a label named. Lost Highway Records. And when you read the description of the property, there’s references to some of Musgraves’ past hits, and a couple of songs that are set to release with her forthcoming album:

“Discover your someday home right here in the middle of nowhere. Past the Dairy Queen, the county line, where there ain’t any fences. This delightful casita has a charming pink exterior with a welcoming front porch made for long conversations and slow-burning mornings. Sunlight spills into the living spaces throughout the day, and the home’s original details remain thoughtfully preserved.

In the family for over 100 years, this land and traditional Texas home have a lot of lore, and have long been a creative sanctuary and respite when the world feels uncertain. It’s the kind of place where silence doesn’t equal loneliness. It means your thoughts have room to breathe.

Step outside under the open Texas sky, go fishing in the lake, listen to the wind move through the pine trees, and let the pace shift. Sitting on nearly 40 acres down a quiet country road, this home is the perfect place to get lost. (You might just find exactly what you’re looking for.)”

The listing also mentions that the pink home features horse parking, coyote watching, and great acoustics (along with no bad energy, no reckless men, and Bigfoot sightings).

And the photos of the listing don’t include any interior shots, though it does say it’s a 2 bed, 1 bath house that spans 935 square feet. Here are a couple of the pictures that were included… peep the “Coming Soon: Lost Highway Realty” watermarks:

All in all, this seems to be a fun little easter egg that Musgraves and her team dropped online for her fans to find. We see modern day artists getting more and more creative with their album and song releases (the Red Clay Strays just tapped into billboard evangelism), and this one from Kacey Musgraves is definitely one of the more unique efforts the country music world has seen.

Here’s a TikTok creator breaking it down in case you are a more visual learner:
